God at Work with Ken Costa

The Wilberforce Address 2009, hosted by the Conservative Christian Fellowship, will be given by God at Work author, Ken Costa.

He will speaking on 'The Economy' at a ticketed event to be held on 24th June, 7-9pm in the Attlee Suite, Houses of Parliament.

Around 160 men attended the men’s breakfast held at HTB on Saturday 28th March.

The men enjoyed a cooked breakfast followed by a talk from HTB Churchwarden, and author of God at Work, on the topic of ‘winning at work without losing in life’.

Ken Costa spoke at HTB's Sunday service on the 29th March on the topic 'Confession,' the last in the series 'Life Transformers.'

Nicky Gumbel quipped that it was 'pure co-incidence that we have chosen a banker to speak on the subject of confession!' when introducing him.

Ken Costa spoke at the first Wharton Global Alumni Forum in Dubai on the 12th March. The 2009 Dubai Forum’s theme was “At the Crossroads for Global Economic Change.”

Ken was a member of a panel (pictured far right) which discussed, 'The Impact of the Financial Crisis on the Middle East.'

The North West launch of the God at Work Course was held in Manchester, hosted by Oasis Manchester.

The event was held at Elmwood Church on the 25th February.

In his talk, Ken Costa gave examples from the Bible which are similar to the present financial status.

The Archbishop of York noted the importance of a Christian worldview in the world today during his address at HTB. His comments received widespread coverage in the national press.

The Times reported:

THE GOD AT WORK course was launched by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, at a special conference at Holy Trinity Brompton on February 16. Around 160 delegates attended the conference and received training in how to run the six-session course, which is to help equip Christians to live out their faith in their workplaces.

Ken Costa spoke to some 250 Christian leaders and business people in Nottingham as part of the God at Work Course launch.

The event was held at County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham, on Monday 9th February 2009 from 6:30-9:30pm.
